Come Join the Tacoma Sea Scouts on the CHARLES N CURTIS!

The program is open to all youth age 14 and older. Monday night meetings (7:00-9:00PM) and Saturdays (9:00AM- 4:00PM) at the Tacoma Sea Base. The Curtis is a 78 foot Coast Guard cutter that came to the Sea Scouts in 1946.

The Curtis program offers...
*Fun, adventure and skill building for youth involved in the program.
*Youth work toward earning rank of Quartermaster, which is equivalent to the rank of Eagle Scout.
*Opportunities for youth to learn the fundamentals of seamanship, gain knowledge, and develop citizenship and leadership skills.
*Youth cruise on the Curtis year round, supervised by qualified and licensed volunteers.
*Weekly cruises in Commencement Bay, we visit secluded islands and island towns on a week long summer cruises.
*Sea Tacoma Sea Scout Base
1129 Dock Street, Tacoma camp on beaches, hike, kayak, and handle all manner of small boats.
