YMCA Camp Seymour in Gig Harbor Wa needs summer camp nurses! Responsibilities include supervising the health care program and health center operations. Reviewing health histories, dispensing medication, and providing first aid and medical care to all campers and staff in accordance with camp medical protocols. Active communication with camp’s consulting physician as well as camper families. Maintaining the health log, accident reports, preparing first aid kits for use on trips and overnights. Qualifications: Prefer RN degree and license to practice in Washington State (minimum: EMT). Maturity, understanding, patience and a commitment to serving youth of all ages are vital. Knowledge of/practical experience in: health care facility organization, pediatrics, leadership and communication skills.
